About Dr. Wilson: Bio Updating 10-02-2021.
Below* are some glimpses into the things that I've explored and found useful. I look forward to hearing about your concerns. We can develop what I call your Health Menu of options that you can choose to improve your life, or the life of your child or loved one. See my blog presentation: Working Together: Your Choices and Your Future. I've enjoyed working with autistic spectrum children as well as elders and military veterans. One of the endeavors for serving people in those and all populations is: DC Natural Neuroscience.
The natural health care field is deepening its help for people with concerns about "mind", "behavioral health","spectrum" conditions, etc. Here are a few links that I recently discovered:

**I am proud to have worn a military uniform in service to our country. A brief mention of my military experience could begin with: In 1963 I said "YES" to President Kennedy's insiration to serve the nation. I competed for and won an appointment to the USAF Academy (Class of 1969). There I joined young men learning leadership, as well as taking trainings with 1. Army Airborne, 2. alongside Navy SEALS, and, 3. deeply realistic Air Force P.O.W. leadership trainng. Some good friends were Marines. I was trained to recognize the risks and capabilities of members of all the uniformed services. The 1960s and 1970s were times of unimaginable transitions in the experience of those men and women who wore uniforms. Now that our nation is still in a state of declared war, I feel humbled when I am in the presence of men and women who are active military or in the Post 9/11 veteran ranks.

Here are three interviews in 2008 where I share the key hopes that I held for the developing future that has become TODAY.
Next I want to share with you a Welcome to the Human Family. It's presented by James Earl Jones on suicide prevention; the subtext is the wonderful relationships of the Human Family. The key message is that you are not alone. Play it a second time and pay special attention to their eyes and facial expressions. Feel the hope and enjoyment that can enliven our lives, even though your present circumstances may be challenging.

*My Training and Experiences in Healthcare:
I've traveled widely. My traditional medical training began in the University of Michigan Medical School in 1970, toward the M.D. degree. After completing a year I chose to go on what became a personal healing journey, discovering ways to integrate western medicine with other approaches to healthy living and health improvement. The keys to my own health improvement were: A) recognizing and treating toxic dental conditions, and, B) experiencing Homeopathy and “Integrative Medicine” approaches to remove restrictions to healthy function, and, C) using new discoveries in Neuroscience to address forgotten traumatic experiences. I have trained with medical doctors, naturopaths, psychotherapists, shamans and others. My associations with natural medicine practitioners and doctors trained in western medicine helps me to create programs that integrate the best of both worlds. I am licensed as a Naturopathic Physician in Hawai'i. This web site can give only a portion of the many studies, trainings and exposures I have had to mainstream Science as well as Complementary and Alternative Medicine approaches.
Why I was proud to be seeing patients in Washington DC. What Service To Nation means:
My father was born in Georgetown University Hospital while his father was at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History doing research into the Crinoidea flexibilia (which he hoped would prove to be the "missing link" between plant and animal). My grandfather and both of my parents were dedicated to science and nature; my mother was the nurse who applied science to the practical art of healing; my father after fighting in WWII as a tailgunner in a B-17 based in Australia then earned a masters degree in animal biology and became a game biologist (Conservation Officer) and later a high school science teacher.
Science and Spirituality: I'm now in Hawai'i -- At this time in my life it is energizing to me to be giving to others from the rich background of knowledge and experience that I continue to develop after I've left Washington DC to live in the islands again. Our nation was founded in a time that held tremendous potential for humanity; the United States of America continues to provide a productive ground of creativity that will enrich science as it serves society in general: see book description and NPR audio interview on the book: The Invention of Air: A story of Science, Faith, Revolution and the Birth of America. I support people in their choice of faith or philosophy.

I Support the ACEP: the Association for Comprehensive Energy PsychologyAssociation for Comprehensive Energy Psychology
I support the pioneering work of ACEP in informing the mental health community about important acupuncture-meridian-based tools for accessing deep mental and emotional processes. Their careful development over recent years has been inspiring. Note: When you visit the ACEP web site please be aware that they are in the early stages of perceiving the importance of body energies that were originally studied by the doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The ACEP members were originally members of the western psychology field who are now trying to stand in both camps. Please do not rely solely on the practitioners you may encounter after visiting their web site. I and my network of practitioners can deliver a much more robust program of individualized care than can their members. Still, I do appreciate them for their boldness in developing the work as far as they understand it.
